It's wild. I have around 30 years of experience in writing online, various different ways and forms. It's been nonstop since I found the internet. I've written and published stuff like DIY punk zines, websites, etc, and written hundreds of articles about jiu jitsu, physics, investing, history, you name it... but I feel like I've learned more in the last four months of consistent daily practice (2 hours a day minimum, plus probably 2-3 hours of research every day) than in the previous 29 years combined.

Yep. I'm not surprised. That's why so many authors will tell you consistency is vital. Especially if you want to write professionally. It's like training your brain, and after a while it knows what you need and it adapts. Pretty amazing what we can do, eh? ;)

Absolutely. I have trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for about as long (late 90s), and I can say for sure that you really start getting it when you start getting in every day. Flow state is so very important!
