So here we are… September 7 aka Launch Day!
“Everlife,” my debut novel, is officially out. By the time you get this email, it will be available as an ebook on Amazon. Other platforms should follow shortly (it takes time to spread, depending on retailers).
There will also be a paperback, but I need to work out a few issues I’m having with the files. Hopefully I can get that settled within the next 24 hours, though the book will likely take a few days more to show up on Amazon and elsewhere.
Either way, the link above will take you to a list of all currently available platforms (or take you to your favorite store directly if you have it configured to do so). If you don’t see a platform you like, you can click on the link again in a day or two for an updated list.
Those of you who have offered to review the book should now be able to do so on Amazon and Goodreads. Here are the direct links:
Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BDGGF1TF
Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/61999776-everlife
I will also list the book on Bookbub and LibraryThing within the next couple of days.
Coming up this month
There will only be one story published on my Substack this month. Likely the far-future spy story I’ve been writing—if I can get it done in time. Otherwise, I’ll use something else. So I guess it’ll be a surprise ;)
That’s all for now.
Check this out!
Ballads of the Distant Reaches is a shared fantasy universe by various authors and screenwriters, beautifully illustrated by talented artists. Stories are released on Substack twice a month. It’s a fascinating project, so make sure you check it out!
A book to read
Here is a book that might be of interest to you. It is free to download, though you’ll have to sign up to the author’s newsletter to grab your copy.
Lucky Slayer by Jason Link
A WWII veteran fighter pilot and a dragon face off in a battle for survival.
Harris, a veteran fighter pilot, saw his share of action in WWII. Now retired from the military, he's taken on new work: hunting and harvesting dangerous beasts. His latest gig takes him to Nicaragua where the locals are terrorized by a dragon living in the volcano that overshadows their land. Harris and his fighter plane have taken down a good number of dragons in the past. But this one proves to be bigger—and fiercer—than all the others he has faced before. Will his skill—and luck—be enough to slay the beast?
